Merger of Management Angels and GroNova
Two leading interim management providers embark on a joint growth strategy
The owners and management of Management Angels GmbH in Hamburg and GroNova AG in Zug (Switzerland) have come to the mutual decision to combine their business activities in the jointly owned company MAGNALIA AG. The two brand names Management Angels® and GroNova® will continue to be used. This merger underlines the new company’s ambition to become the leading consultancy firm for interim management projects in German-speaking countries.
“Through this strategic step, we are anticipating the impending consolidation of the interim management market and encouraging the ongoing professionalisation process of our industry,” says the chairman of MAGNALIA AG, Andreas Suter.
“We aim to respond even more consistently to our clients’ needs, to create solutions for them and to contribute to their profitable growth,” comments Klaus-Olaf Zehle. The new company already handles around 150 projects a year and will position itself as a specialist for transformation tasks and for innovative business ventures. To this end, the company will leverage the experience of its more than 2,500 carefully evaluated experts in combination with a unique methodology. The placement of temporary managers – across multiple industries and positions – alongside conventional management consulting represents the future of interim management.
The new company will continue to operate from its main offices in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich and Zug. As well as covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, it will further expand its international business. The company’s clients and interim managers will retain the same contacts and contract partners as before.
The new management team includes the founders and current managing directors: Andreas Suter as the chairman and head of the GroNova brand, Klaus-Olaf Zehle as head of the Management Angels brand, Thorsten Becker for international business and Beat Güttinger for the management pools. The joint partner Tilo Ferrari will continue to pioneer the company’s franchise concept.
